Well I've bought my ticket to Buenos Aires and expect to fly out on 5 Oct 09.......Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru and Chile here I come.
Bought a Rough Guide to Sth America, the Sth American Handbook, and a Spanish & Portugese phrase book...I'll need a wheelbarrow to carry them aroun

Needed a new backpack....my trusty Caribee finally exploded in Holland last year...sad. It lasted 18 years and I hope my new one will last just as long.
I've had all my jabs (Typhus, Tetanus, Hep A and Yellow Fever etc). I'll now probably just succumb to a caiman (crocodile), tarantula, anaconda, crazy Sth American driver etc, and it will all be a waste of money. Better safe than sorry though.
A week to go now, and getting excited at last.
