Dieng Plateau, The land of Gods abode
Finally
after a the sweet torture for 5 hours, we arrived in Dieng Plateu. The weather was really
cold. Its 2pm. We’ve got to be hurry. Done bargain the price with the the
bus-kenek :) we stopped by in the guest house that we rent 170thousand
rupiah per night for 5 people..man…good price with heater and big bed of
course.
Arjuna
temple complex of Dieng is our first destination. There are several small
temples and some of them are broken, it was awesome because its surrounded by
the hills. After sitting awhile and took photos of some narcissism
buddy we continue the journey that day to Singkidang crater.
The smell was so strong. To get close to Singkidang we have to take a walk for
10 minutes more, the smells is so stronger when we get close, there are boiling mud as
well. The smoke covers almost all of the mud.
Walking back to watch documenter movie about Dieng Plateu in the Theater, was a
good documentary by the way.
TelagaWarna is the next destination, Awesome lake, colorful lake :) , so comfort and serene.
Could be one of the best place to relaxing, just sitting near the lake. Near
Telaga Warna there are few cave, but we decided to go straightly to *Well Cave*
there was the key man that took care of the cave while we there, somehow he let
us enter the cave, inside the cave there are sacred water that are trusted that
it will give wealthy and for whom looking for a husband/wife, after wash your
face with the sacred water, you will find your partner in the blink of eyes…:) it was funny but it was the history of it.
Back to the guesthouse cause its already 6pm and pretty cold. Prepare our
energy to the next destination tomorrow, caught sunrise from Mount Sikunir. 4am
woke up, Mr.Ojek (Motorcycle man) has been waiting for us, 20thousand rupiah,
fair enough!
The sunrise was great…but I’ve seen more gorgeous than that in other mountain.
But this time is special because we celebrating our National day on the Top of
the Mountain, singing our national song with Roger the swiss guy whom volunteering
himself to sing the song together.
