I occupied a spot near the tip on the upper deck, until it got too cold and too bumpy outside of the bay. I started feeling seasick when stepping inside, so I figured I should keep focus on the scenery to forget the discomfort and it worked.
On the way back, we made a detour to Resurrection Cap to see sea lions and seabirds. I like the cute puffins. I saw lots of huge colorful jelly fish as well. It would be very nice to come back and do kayaking along the rugged coastline. The tour guide spotted a few mountain goats, and a lonely black bear on a sand strip. Too bad I don't have a better zoom lens.
We got back to shore around 7pm. I was so beat (I had not eaten and drunk much onboard for fear of seasick, plus the cold), and didn't have time for fresh seafood. On the way to the hostel, I caught a beautiful sunset, the last sunset of the day in continental America.
