Sunday at Fest
Ah, the BEST day, the one I was looking forward to the entire time!!!! ETTA JAMES!!!! Yes, I got to see the lady herself! AND, yes, she did make comments about Beyonce, "Hmmph, Beyonce (said with sarcasm). And she did "At Last" (our wedding song). OMG! SO amazing! She sounded absolutely wonderful! I couldn't believe that someone in their 70s could still have such a strong and clear voice!
Other great acts that day, Papa Grows Funk, Sonny Landreth, Robert Cray Band, and Earth, Wind and Fire! They all sounded great. After a great day, we headed back to the hotel for our last night there...(yes, we moved back to the condo for Monday). And, we were going to head out to walk Royal Street galleries and head over for a walking Garden District Tour on Monday. FUN!
