Boiler Bay

Took a quick road trip out to the Pacific Northwest states of Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Stopped at a few parks including Crater Lake, Mount St Helens, and Mount Rainier with lots of geology stops.

Boiler Bay

I stopped at Cape Lookout for a quick hike - didn't make it all the way to the end.  I figured the photo would look about the same and I still had lots of ground to cover.  The Oregon Coast has many turn outs where you can pull over, take a quick photo and leave if you'd like.  They are part of the state park system, but you don't have to pay to enjoy the beauty.  Boiler Bay is a very photogenic location.  I stopped here before camping one night and then stopped again in the morning when the fog was rolling out.  Later in the morning I caught it at low tide.  What a great view!
