Our family decided to go to our grandparent's hometown in Castillejos Zambales to visit the grandparents grave at the same time go to the nearest beach. We went to Camara and Capones Island then to Anawangin Cove until late afternoon, nice beach with lots pine trees.

Zambales is part of Central Luzon and it is only less than two hours away fron Metro Manila via North Luzon Expressway. It is the location of the world's largest volcanic eruption of the 20th century: Mount Pinatubo in Botolan, Zambales - now a veritable trekking destination for the intrepid explorer.
