Arrival at Delhi international

my flight with air india was nothing to shout about...sevice was civil at best. we set off half an hour late from london heathrow, the check in staff said they were planning for a half an hour earlier take off...
the entertainment channels were pretty poor for an international flight. there were only 6 english movies to choose from! at delhi airport, it was a cool air of organised chaos. there was a queue for health checks followed by immigration. so i popped to the ladies to refresh and rejuvenate.
there is a form to fill for the heatlh checks and another for immigration which were provided on the flight, but otherwise there are some blank ones at the counters.
outside, there were plenty of trolleys and the baggage came out very slowly. i collected stuff and went through the motions: currency (which was about 2-3% worse rate than in the city, prepaid taxi for 250 ruppees to get to my hostel near the new delhi train station. airtel sm card (for 300 ruppees, and unfortunately, you get charged for for making and receiving calls outside delhi, so its like being in a different country)
onward into delhi....
