sea turtles

Pompano Beach is not going to win any international awards for best beach, but it definitely falls into the "nice, good beach" category. There are plenty of tourists who base themselves here and the shops along the beachfront are typical for a beach town, and I would even say busy. I coincidently got to see a baby sea turtle, recently hatched, find its way into the sea. They are good about protecting the turtles that lay their eggs on the sands here and even stopping by to watch this event would make a worthwhile trip to the beach.
