Puerto Princesa City, is in the Cleanest and Greenest City Hall of Fame. It is also the largest city in the Philippines by land area.
The nine islands in Honda Bay is a must see. Beneath the Bay's tropical waters lie an abundance of marine resources, the home of more than 300 species of reef fish, corals, mollusks and crustaceans. Sea grass beds serve as a feeding ground for endangered sea cows or dugong. The islands in Honda Bay are nesting sites of hawksbill, Olive Ridley and green sea turtles. New and rare marine species continue to be discovered by divers exploring Honda Bay. The area is ideal for underwater macro photography, as visibility is good most of the year.
We went to the market in the very early morning to buy tuna fish for lunch in our island hopping at Honda Bay. Our boat landed to two islands and one reef named starfish, snake islands and the pambato reef. Had our lunch cooked by our boat man at snake island before heading back to the wharf for our next activity, the city tour. By 2pm we left the wharf and proceed to Crocodile Farm, Iwahig Prison, Mitra's Ranch and Baker's Hilll.
