oh my god.....

.....Sao Paulo is ENORMOUS! Its really quite hard to imagine - i mean everyone told me its huge but it still amazed me! I arrived by night bus from Vassouras and went to Santo Andre to meet Brunna and her family.
Spent most of Saturday looking around Sao Paulo, still just trying to get over the sheer size of it! It doesnt have the charm or looks of Rio but its as busy and fast-paced as London - not sure I could spend more than a week or so here, think i would need a more laidback place but definitely definitely recommend a visit - don't think a trip to Brazil would be complete without experiencing it!
Late afternoon went to Santos which is a couple of hours away with Brunna and Leo - walked along the sea front and then got something to eat - was a fun day although didnt get back to Santo Andre 'til around 3am so was shattered as had arrived at 6am!! Another place i recommend visiting is Santos - really pretty, nice beach but not as busy as Rio and not as many tourists! So again, not a place to go if you know not a single word of portuguese.
