In 2007 A group of 33 young people from Dordrecht, The Netherlands travelled to Kpandai, Ghana. We travelled there to build a Junior High School we financed. On the way to Kpandai and back we also dit some sight seeing. This will be my first travel blog the text is from my journal i kept throughout the journey. So i'm still translating and sorting out the photo's MORE WILL FOLLOW

Last Goodbyes before leaving to Ghana!

After a year of preperations everyone was finally ready to leave to Ghana.
We had done a lot of actions to collect money, from selling toiletpaper to a sponsored bike tour.
But no finally the time was there, we were off to Ghana a dream come true.

My bag was packed, my arms were injected with vaccins and my mind was set for Africa.
We leaved early from Dordrecht with a bus to Schiphol to take the Allitalia plane to Accra Ghana.
