Jam Gadang is stand still. You know the special thing of Jam Gadang (Great Watch) is the number 4, all numbers were in Roman. As we all know, number 4 in Roman is IV, but on the watch it was made III+I = IIII. It was to honor one man who died when building it. The traditional transportation a.k.a delmans are still there. Delman is a 4 passengers transportation mode which is pulled by a horse. You have to pay Rp. 20.000 (USD 2.00) from one place to another. Near or far is just the same cost.
Not far from Jam Gadang is the Japanese Tunnel. It's still in good condition though earthquake happens very often here. From Jam Gadang it is only 15 minutes away walking or 5 minutes by delman. There are many monkeys at the tunnel area, they dont bite. They're happy to welcome visitor (human being).
There are still many things to see and to visit in Bukit Tinggi, but it's only places I visited last Sunday.
