Day 1 of the Fab Ft. Lauderdale Meetup

I started the day still trying to work out my babysitter situation. I wasn't really sure until about two hours before the meetup started if i was even going to make it, but I am so glad I did! First off, my sister (flyinhigh) probably would have killed me if I didn't show after confirming, plus, I wouldn't have met such a cool group of TBs!!
I tried to arrive a little early since my sister was hosting the event and when I got there I immediately saw that Joanne and Harriet (Africancrab) were already enjoying a lemon drop at the bar, yummy, good idea! I joined them for a lemon drop and a fancy, little meatball slider, both were decent but not the best I have had. I think I make both better, hehe! Joanne had these fabulous armbands with our real and TB names on them so we could be more identifiable to each other.
I was only there for a few minutes and we were already laughing and snapping pictures like three old friends who had not seen each other in years. Harriet commented on how we have a low amount of Ft. Lauderdale TBs, so Joanne went ahead and recruited and armbanded the bartender. The bartender, Jenna, went on to tell us that she wanted to do the Miami meetup on Monday, so we will see how the recruiting session went tonight!
The next TB to arrive was Julian (jmoreno3), Joanne and Harriet "tagged" him, which came to mean giving someone an armband, and he had all three of us to himself for a little while, lucky guy! Next up was Alarick (AlarickT tagged), and then Rob (rvegas, also tagged).
We were taken to a table and introduced to our server, who was immediately renamed "hotness" by Joanne and you guessed it, tagged!! He was very cool and the dinner was nice. I will review YOLO later. We got a late arrival with Stephanie (JerseysFinest77) and her sister Charms. It was Charms birthday so we were happy to help them celebrate the occasion!
