The popular Fort Lauderdale Travbuddy Meet-up at YOLO
The long awaited Fort Lauderdale Travbuddy meet-up is finally here: our charming, vibrant and classy host Joanne (Flyinhigh) made it all worth while, exciting, and something to remember among all travbuddy meet-ups to come. The choice of YOLO (You Only Live Once) was Robert's idea and definitely one to give a thumbs-up to as it turned out to be a classy restaurant and bar with five star services. The meet-up was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. so we got out of the house early enough to give us a head start. We were to meet at the bar from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. then dine at 6:30 p.m. within the same location. Joanne pulled up the directions on Google and soon we were on our way: we arrived ahead of time and decided to valet park the car for easier retrieval later in the night. We had a confirmed list of ten on travbuddy forum but not all who confirmed showed, a few sent in last minute cancellations like JR who we missed.
