Travel Day: Spangdahlem to Santorini, Greece
Departed Frankfurt International Airport, layover in Athens then onto to Santorini. Ticket price was 259 US. There are benches in the Athens airport that allow you to lay down, which is very important for those long journeys. Follow signs to B 10-15 and there is a large with that is quiet and has benches without arm rests.
Arrived in Santorini at 10:30 pm. Got a taxi to Perissa which cost 15 euro. Stayed at Holiday Beach. Met a friend from St Thomas at the hotel, Patrick and and his friend Nate. Met some travellers at the hotel and we all went to Full Moon Bar on Perissa Beach. Small beers were 2.50, and large beers were 5 euro. Drank there for a few hours, packed with tourists, then went to Beach Bar, again packed with tourists. Everyone got separated so eventually made it home with 3 other tourists, including Laurna.
