Travel Day: Rio to Iguassu Falls
May 1, 2007
I said my goodbyes to the fellowship (Brett, Joe, and Byron) and headed out to the falls of Iguazu. I got a bus to the main bus terminal for 2 real. Booked a seat on Pluma bus company to Iguassu Falls for 184 real. Left shortly after purchasing the ticket. The bus takes around 23 hours to get to the falls from Rio, and it drives throughout the night. The bus stops at a huge gas station for dinner. The food was not bad, it is charged per kilo at a self serve station. The bus stops for about an hour at the gas station for a much needed rest. However, the bus does not stop very often.
Quote of the day: It is very difficult to urinate on a moving bus.
