Iguazu Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

My first trip to South America. I have 5 weeks with no set plans. So i will see where the road takes me. After South America, I will be heading to Europe for 2 months to some familiar and some very unfamiliar places. I apologize in advance if this is difficult to read, grammar was never my best subject. Cheers.

Travel Day: Asuncion...ooops Buenos Aires

Made plans to visit Asuncion, Paraguay.  Booked a hostel and was about to leave Brazil when the staff at Paudimar Falls tells me US citizens need a travel visa.  Well, its possible to get one, but it requires too much paper work.  So, i changed plans and decided to head to Buenos Aires early.

Took a city bus across the river, which separates Brazil and Argentina to the town of Porto Iguazu, Argentina.  I was told it is much cheaper to catch the bus to Buenos Aires from the Argentinian side.  The bus takes 18 hours and costs 160 Pesos.  On the bus i met 2 Canadians Pete and Adam, and 4 Brits Kez, Hanah, Lucy, and Jess.
