My first trip to South America. I have 5 weeks with no set plans. So i will see where the road takes me. After South America, I will be heading to Europe for 2 months to some familiar and some very unfamiliar places. I apologize in advance if this is difficult to read, grammar was never my best subject. Tower #9

After a fitful night of hot, sticky sleep, Holly, Donna, and i went to tower 9 on Ipanema Beach.  Rented a chair while hanging out on the beach only cost 3 real.  We ate lunch at Colher de Paul.  This place has delicious and cheap lunch specials.  I had the steak and a drink for 20 real.

We pre-partied at the hostel before going out.  I bought some wine at the nearby grocery store.  We walked to Emporio from the hostel, which took about 30 minutes.  Tonight Emporio was not crowded at all, we were able to get a table.  The dj was very good and the drinks were cheap.  It was a good time.
