San Rafael
When i first stepped off the bus at 9am, i wanted to get back on it. The weather has changed drastically for the worse. Authors important note: It is ball numbing cold in San Rafael in May. Bring warm clothes. Across the street from the train station there is an apartment locator. Which was key for us, because we hadnt booked anything in advance. The apartment locator called the owner directly and he came and showed us the place. The apartment slept 8 and was 140 pesos per night. It was called Departamentos Rios. Since it had a kitchen we bought our groceries at the market. San Rafael has a large street devoted to shopping. We walked around for awhile, i bought some new trainers to replace the destroyed ones from the mudfest called southfest.
Cooked dinner for ourselves and drank wine at the apartment.
