Paradise Beach
We took the scooter around the island today to explore the many beaches. First we went to Ftelia, then Elia, of which we spent some time on. These beaches were not worth the trip. Pretty much just ordinary beaches with just a few tourists on them.
At about 5:30pm, we made our way back to Paradise Beach, holy crap this place was jumping! The bars next to the beach were playing dance music at high volumes, and hired pretty girls (and an occassional dude) to dance on the bar tops and tables. Now i see why everyone was telling me to stay here at Paradise Beach, and it also explains why nobody was around at night. Everyone just gets tore up duing the day and passes out early. We ran into some other tourists we met on the first night and drank with them. I bought beers from the convenient store guy instead of the bars on the beach, much cheaper that way.
We had to drop the scooter off tonigt, so we had dinner and drinks in town. We ate at Parmigiano, i had the penne carbonara, very good, for 10 euro. Still kind of buzzed from the beach, i had some wine at dinner and somehow got really drunk. We were supposed to meet our friends at a club near Paradise Beach, but i passed out and didnt wake up...ooopsssie.
