Arrived in Buenos Aires at noon.  Be very careful at this bus terminal.  It is very crowded, and a travel companion had their bag stolen at this terminal.  Keep your belongings close at all times.

We checked into Hostel Inn Tango City without a reservation, although during peak season i am sure this would not be possible.  This is by far one of the best hostels i have found.  The staff is excellent.  Their recommendations were all great, they are very friendly, seem to enjoy their job, and every request is answered with a no problem.  Free internet with 3 computers, bar downstairs, tv room with dvds to checkout, free breakfast, and most of the large dorm rooms have bathrooms with hot showers.

The best thing i have ever put in my mouth!
Everyone gets a room key (with a 20 peso deposit), instead of sharing 1 for 8 people, which can get very annoying.  Also, the hostel employees someone to book trips and make reservations at your request.  And if that werent enough for you, the hostel on most nights supply free dinner from the restaurant next door.  Dorm rooms cost 29 pesos.

For lunch the staff recommended Desnivel...holy crap.  Dont go to Bs As without getting the lomo at Desnivel.  Lomo sweet lomo.  Lomo, as i think i have figured out, is the back portion of the cow.  So, some restaurants use different portions of the back as their lomo, which is why it may look different at other restaurants.  The lomo at Desnivel is a very thick piece of meat.  It is usually prepared medium rare, even if you dont request it that way.

The meat melts in your mouth.  I am not kidding, it really does.  This has to be the best steak i have ever eaten, truly amazing.  You have a choice of different sauces such as pepper, mustard, and mushroom.  I must recommend the pepper sauce.  The meat is served with fried potato circles, but i substitute for mashed potatoes.

The waiters bring out bread with this amazing spicy dipping sauce.  All this for only 24 pesos, also each person is charged 2.50 for table service, which i believe is separate from the waiter's tip.  I usually give 10 percent of the total bill.  Also, the house wine, which is served in penguin caraffes is pretty good and dirt cheap.

After lunch, i went to the large shopping district on Florida Avenue.

Kez, Jess, and Sanjai
Personally, i thought the stores were over priced and the fashions to be outdated.

After drinking at the hostel bar until 2 am, we went to a club called Rumi.  The door man was very selective.  It helped that we had more girls than guys in our group, and Jess talked the door guy into picking us, otherwise i would still be standing outside.  The placed charged 30 peso cover, and the can of beers were 8 pesos.  The dj played mostly techno, that wasnt all that great.  It seemed most of the club was under 18, but that just might be me getting older.  It got very crowded later, and i bumped into a girl i met in Brazil, pretty crazy.

Quote of the day: Since i have developed epilepsy, i have been getting great workouts.
