My first trip to South America. I have 5 weeks with no set plans. So i will see where the road takes me. After South America, I will be heading to Europe for 2 months to some familiar and some very unfamiliar places. I apologize in advance if this is difficult to read, grammar was never my best subject. Cheers.

Iguassu Falls

Iguazu Falls, Brasil

After 22 hours and 1500 kilometers i arrived in the town of Iguassu Falls at noon, 25 degrees south latitude.  I booked a room at Paudimar Falls, which was recommended by a friend.  The hostel was almost empty, not many people there.  The room cost 21 real for dorm, free internet, free breakfast, pool, bar, and workout equipment.

I went to the Iguassu Falls on the Brazillian side, entrance fee of 20 real.  From the hostel i took the airport/national park bus, cost around 2 real.  Inside the park, a bus takes you to the trail that runs near the falls.  The walk takes about 30 minutes and is amazing, definitely recommended.  However, i was told the Argentinian side is better, but i did not go.

Had dinner down the street from the hostel at a restaurant called Sushi Hokkai.  Had the filet mignon, damn good.  With drink the total was 33 real.
