Airport look empty outside, how cool! I haven't had the opportunity to do the check in online, so it would be perfect if there were not many people. But once I crossed the door, OMG! It was crowded!!! Anyway, I had plenty of time. The counter hasn't open yet, but there was already a small line. While I was doing the line, I realized most of the people from the flight were going to Lima just for a layover.
Finally I did the check in, went to pay my airport fee - very expensive US$ 40 - and was ready to go throught security. There was a guy from the line who was next to me the whole time. Oh well, we were in the same flight. He was Ecuadorian in his way to NJ and we started to talk. Before going through security, there were some shops and I saw the dessert I've never tried. Should I do that right now? Well, why not? I was about leaving the country, hahaha. I tried the quimbolito and it tasted like the Peruvian humitas, hahaha.
Then went through security, which didn't take long, what took loooong was doing customs. There was a looong line. I think it took me over 30min. So good I had so much free time. After being ready with this, I still had time to kill. So this guy and me went for a cup of coffee and he was telling me about Ecuador and the other parts of the country I was missing. Wow! somebedy talks more than me, hahaha. I realized they were starting to board and we moved.
Flight was ok. This time the flight was full. So good, my iPod was fully charge. Flight was ok. I tried to take a nap at least briefly a long day was waiting for me in Lima...
