So here is a blog chronicling my Summer in Europe: Italy, (1 night stop over in London) Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France (back to italy for a weekend while in france for 2 weeks), Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and a bit of Switzerland. Next Trip I will venture farther East in Europe :o)

First day of Study Abroad

I arrived in the Hague airport and learned that my luggage had not made it. This actually worked in my favor since my luggage was so heavy and I didn't feel like carrying it on the train :o).  I took the train to the Hague and a cab to the hotel and checked into the Golden Tulip Bel-Air Hotel. My roommate wasn't there yet so I walked around the neighborhood looking for a store to buy an outfit for orientation the next day, in case my luggage didn't arrive in time.  I found a cute boutique (well actually lots of cute boutiques) and bought a blue dress. Good thing because my luggage didn't come for 2 days. I headed back to the hotel and waited till my roommate got there. THis was the first time we had met and we decided to go to dinner.  We had amazing sushi and then headed back to the hotel since we had to get up early for orientation. (I will fill in the names of various restaurants and stores whose names I have forgotten once I look through all of my reciepts :o) )

Great Hotel ! Very clean. Excellent location, very close to a tram stop. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were excellent and the beds extremely comfortable. Only negative was that the wireless internet was very expensive !
