A new sign displays that Buye Beach is now a resort
Buye Beach is an "off the beaten" path sort of piece of heaven ..... that happens to come across your way during your panoramic routes along the town of Cabo Rojo. I came upon this beach with the help of my co-pilot and friend Lillie, this time around the island. She discovered this beach some time ago and always makes it a point to return everytime she visits the island. I can see why…..It is definitely secluded jewel with minimal amounts of visitors during the week . The waves are just a tiny “bit” more intense than Boqueron Beach but still great for sun bathing ,swimming, fishing ,walking, snorkeling and diving.
The waters are crystal clear with many little fishes "dancing and scrurrying" about.
I truly enjoyed just watching the small children wading in the waters and working on their sand sculptures.
