Boqueron Beach-Cabo Rojo

Though I had a limited amount of time on this enchanting island, my main mission was to reconnect with my family members. It is always so wonderful to experience the culture of Puerto Rico through their love and hospitality.

Boqueron Beach is located near a bay in the town of Cabo Rojo in   the small village of Boqueron. It is situated in the western coastal part of Puerto Rico. It is just a three hour drive from its capital, San Juan. The beach is a beautiful stretch of whie sand with calm and inviting turquoise waters,just perfect for swimming!

People come from near and far to take advantage of what Boqueron beach has to offer: picnic tables, bike rentals,basketball courts,snorkeling,scuba-diving,kite-surfing and many other water sports.

I was content just enjoying the morning walks on the beach ,frolicing in the waters with seniors during their water aerobic session (see video below)and catching some Caribbean sun rays ( totally different from New York sun rays...;-)
