Fort Augustus is a really beautiful village and a popular one for tourists to stop by Loch Ness. In fact we met a lot of other groups there. We tried to spot Nessie but weren't that lucky :) ... The views on Loch Ness are very impressive!
A few hours after that we were back in Edinburgh. We stayed in a guesthouse just outside the city centre (about 20 minutes on foot) and we decided to take a taxi as we had our luggage. It was really worth it as we were a group of 5 persons and we had no hassles to find our guesthouse. After settling in we went out to find a place to have dinner. We ended up in an Italian restaurant in Lothian Road, which is owned by really friendly Italians and served delicious food.
