Edinburgh is quite a busy city, but much more quiet around the centre. The first thing that I liked about Edinburgh is its people. We arrived in the early hours of the night and were approached by some people asking us where we wanted to go and showing us the way to our hostel - and finally we managed to arrive!
The next day we spent the day going round the city. We started by going up to High Street and walking on towards Holyrood Palace. Being a Sunday it was very quiet in the morning, but as soon as we got out of the Palace there were loads of people everywhere.
Walking back to High Street we saw a lot of street shows related to the Fringe Festival, as well as Scots in traditional clothes. They went on until late, and were nice to stop and see on the way.
By the end of the day we had concluded that the Scots are really nice, friendly and hospitable people.
