Woo-hoo!

After a year away, it was time to visit our families and be part of a couple of weddings

Woo-hoo!

Let the show begin
Today is the day our good friend Garry Woo wed Melissa Broun.  We were both in the bridal party which meant a lot to Craig considering how long Garry and Craig have been friends.  Being early February in Perth meant it was going to be a warm day, but it was more hot than warm.  In fact I think it was around 40C and fairly uncomfortable for those wearing suits.  I'm sure Garry was hoping for a cooler day as he really feels the heat and when you add the pressure of being centre of attention it just makes everything seem hotter.

The ceremony was an eye opener for alot of people as it wasn't a traditional wedding.  There was a small band in the corner, a projector and screen and a lot of people singing.  A fair portion of guests are members of the church, they were getting right into it.

The ceremony went without a hitch and it was off to get some photos and a small lunch in a nearby park.  The sun was scorching so it wasn't long before the jackets came off and a button or two undone to cool down.
