Stop-over

As there are no non-stop flights between London and Perth (yet), and flying on Emirates meant we stopped in Dubai for a couple of hours. The flight was smooth and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the meals weren't bad. Unfortunately there wasn't any video-on-demand for this aircraft, but there was still a wide range of movies and tv shows to watch.
The airport is quite large and open for the small part we walked through on the way from the arrival gate to our departure gate to Perth. There were a number of wireless hotspots provided but they would constantly drop out or have very low speed. But it wasn't long before we were boarding the plane bound for Perth.
