Tour of Lake Geneva Part Three- Evian-les-Bains, France
The next stop of the whistestop tour of Lake Geneva was Evian-Les-Bains on the southern shoreline, which is also a part of France. Like I said earlier, me and Olga passed through the town the other day and looks nice. But with the weather getting ever so cloudy and light rain started to fall, we didn't stay here long. Another stroll along the shore line, and looked at the sights of the casino and main church overlooking the lake. It started to rain, so we walked along the main shopping street trying to stay dry when we came across the EVIAN mineral drinking water muesum. Wow, so this town is the place where they produced the EVIAN drinking water and sell it to most countries across Europe. It is free admission to get in, so we had a quick look at all the informative posters on display, and watch some old television commericals. Its a nice place to visit, but you really only need twenty minutes in here as the museum is so small.
Apart from that, that was Evian. We did some shopping in the supermarket (as food is cheaper here than Switzerland), then we headed east back into Switzerland, and over the border crossing where the police were doing there checks. I thought Switzerland was open borders now that they joined the Shigen group. Oh well.
