Neide's Salsa Samba

Hanalei Travel Blog › entry 12 of 26 › view all entries

Matthew and I got married in Frankfurt, on the 53rd floor of the "Main Tower", then flew half-way around the world for our honeymoon on Kauai, the "garden isle" of Hawaii. There we had a lot of fun swimming, kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, sunbathing...
Mexican and Brazilian food at average prices
Neide's Salsa Samba is located in the Hanalei Center, directly on the 560 going through Hanalei. It is a little difficult to find at first because the sign is at the front of the building and the restaurant itself is more towards the back, to the side of a little courtyard.

This restaurant offers Mexican and Brazilian food and the portions are quite generous considering how filling their dishes can be. The quality of the food as well as the service are prefectly decent, but nothing special. Prices are average and fair for what you get. Should you be sitting outside, there is some live (background) music some nights by a guy playing guitar. But watch out for mosquitoes if you sit outside, for some reason they like to gather in the area around this place.
