First impressions
Today is the second day in Morocco. Yesterday we arrived at Marrakech at 21.00, thanks to some delay....the pilot cheerfully told us that the temperature had gone down 4 degrees (celsius, as everywhere in this blog :) ), it was now only 48 degrees! Thanks to the border controle our luggage arrived before us, and than it was a short transfer to our first hotel: Royal Mirage Marrakech.
After a short night we were in for a long day in the bus: 470 km from Marrakech to Fes....it took us 7 hours or something, thanks to narrow mountain roads. And it was hot! Steamy hot! at one point a local termometer indicated 56 degrees....the airco on the bus couldn't cope with that....luckily we also had airgo (or arko in dutch: alle ramen kunnen open), but still....
finally we arrived in Fes, one of Morocco's Imperial cities, for a well deserved night sleep. Tomorrow a city tour through the oldest medina of Morocco.
