We planned this vacation some time ago, we were so excited, as this was the first cruise ever for the little one, and the second one for us after many years when we had the Nile, Luxor & Aswan 4 nights cruise, also this was our first time we travel to Greece!

Patmos " Home of richest people in Greece"

Second destination was Patmos, a small island with 2500 people living there; they grow grapes, olives, tomatoes, wheat. Again whitewashed houses, many building dating back to the 10th century.

The famous sightseeing there is St. John monastery and the cave in the convent of Apocalypse.

We have been told that richest people of Greece are living in Patmos, however I am not sure how much this say is correct given the island conditions compared to other islands.

We went to the nearest beach, had some swimming, although the boat has a swimming pool, it is so small for 500 pax!! our number on board, you feel you’re having a bath not swimming!!
