Look at the location of this one...

Well, I made it! I'm still not at my final destination, I stayed in a guesthouse last night and (I think) Fiona will come and take me to my new home some time today.

So far everything here has been wonderful. The people are very friendly even if we don't speak the same language.

I'll tell you about yesterday some other time. I think bad news can wait. Let's just say I had a hidious day from go to woe, and boy was there a lot of woe. But I'm here and that's really all that matters. I was on the go for 24 hours and in that time only really slept on my last flight between Shanghai and Chengdu, I don't think I had much of a choice, my worn out mind, body and soul would not take any more, and I all bet fell into a coma.

I feel recharged this morning though. I woke up and looked out my window into my new world and I love it. I stood at my balcony just watching my new world go by when I could take no more and wanted to be in amungst it. I found a vegetable market and then bought some fruit from a gorgeous lady who knew enough English to say, "Hello". Then when it came time to paying, I just showed her how much I had and she took what she wanted. Goodness knows how much I paid for a bunch of grapes, an orange and an apple. But I don't care. I'll learn.

Sam's Guesthouse is where I stayed last night and they have free internet. I am not actually staying here on the property, but in another building down the road. I was a little worried about finding this place again this morning considering I came in after midnight, after my very long day and I wasn't in the frame of mind to retain much. However, I am here. Now I need to find my way back to my room. I know the stand that is downstairs from my room, I watched him going about his business long enough, so I should be fine.

Am I making any sense? I have no idea. Oh well, I'm sure you'll forgive me.

I had a bit of a panic when I signed into the internet this morning. I typed in the Travbuddy website and it didn't come up. Uh oh, what now. So I tried again this time adding the Sunflower300 part, and hey presto! There I was. Phew. There has been a lot of Phew's uttered in the last 30 hours or so. You might learn all about it if I can find the strength.
