Friday, the start of the meet-up
On friday people started to arrive in Leeuwarden on different times... Me and Rowena did the shopping for drinks and foods that day for saterday for kitesurfing and for sunday for the sailboot daytrip. I had a late lunch with Matt, Mike and Jessica at Intermezzo, a good place to sit beside the Eden of Oranje Hotel. Afther I had lunch Rowena Arrived and we went for the foods and drinks.... Afther we did that we prepaired us for diner at the pancake diner at a ship. We had meet-up at 18.30 uur/ 6.30 PM. It was hot inside the shop, but it was a nice place to sit. We had a group with around the 10 people. I had a Apple/ Pinaapple pancake and it was JUmmy... Afther that we went to min12, for icesalon.

OUt there we met two others. It,s one of the best place for scupe ice. Afther that I showd everybody around inside the center of Leeuwaren in to the shopping earia and the old side. We went to the 'Oldenhoven' The spot of Leeuwarden. It,s a famous building of Leeuwarden. We went to the 'Prinsentuin' a very small park, walked at the water and watched the sailboots... We had a drink inside the park and afther that a few people went home around 9/ 10 PM. We went to a coctailbar and a few got there coctail, like me... I had the 'Swimming pool' Around 12Pm me and Rowena went back home with a few others.... A few stayed out there longer!
The Kitesurfday, on saterday the 8th

We had to pack and we were happy that we had mot of the foods and drinks already in the car... We had to be at the meet-up spot at 7.15 at the Eden of Oranje Hotel. I was glad we were compleet and we drove to Harlingen were the Ferry is leaving to Vlieland. It was a 20 minutes drive to Harlingen and first me and Rowena had to go to the Bakkery for lunch things. We were very urlie and some people gpot already there breakfast out there! We were around 8AM in the bakkery, so we had enough time to get the cars in the parking spot, unload the cars and caring the kitesurfing stuff to the sailboot. Rowena booked already the tickeds with group discounts and we only had to wait for the kite instructors, but they came later. We went inside to check in, but we could only do it, when the group was totaly compleet and we got running out of time and there were two people who could not make it and one of them was sick home.

IT was realy a '' last minte" thing and stress..Rowena went back to the Locket to try to bring the left over tickets back....WE could not get the money all back, a small thing...
Around 9 AM we had the group compleet and our stuff nd we could walk in.... Some people had to go inside the cars inside with the kite surfing stuff..... When we went in the ferry, directly the closed the doors, I was realy releaved pfffffffffffff... We went under and the Ferry trip was 1.30 hours... We sat and talked with eachother, some got some sleep... When we arrived we had to move all the stuff to the kitesurfing cars and they could go to the beach already nd make the kites ready, while we were waiting and driving in the bus. We had a 30 minutes break and afther that we went to the beach.

... We were the only ones in the bus that moment and the bus as full... We arrived there around 12 AM on the beach and short afther that we went in a few groups kitting on the beach. THere were like 7 kite instructors out there. Everybody was very active and had a lot of fun... You could try the wings, like a surf thing on wiles and you could go kiten. If you see the pictures you know how they look like! In the midle of the day we had a bigg lunch with drinks.... It was hard to get the people off the kites heyhey hihi... WE had the easy kites, the midle kites and the bigg ones... THere was not enough wind to go in a car with a kite/ wing.
BEfore lunch I just watched and maked the active shots with the camera and afther lunch I did it a few... Last year I did it only for 15 minutes, now longer and I learned it.
. It was a lot of fun and to short for a few houres. Around 3.30 we had to go to catch the bus, because the last Ferry was leaving at 4.30 PM. It was hard to get the group fast to the bus, because they wanted to stay.... I heart soooo many good things about staying longer, loving it etc... It made me happy, but next time we need more time for kiten... It was to short... Most people were not done and want to come back next year if we goling kiten for weekend in Friesland... We had to walk 10 minutes to get at the bus and we were in time and took the Ferry later on back. We had a litle bit of time left before we had to be on boeard, so we dronk and eat some things... On the way back on the ferry, more people went sleeping, others talking and we arrived around 6 PM. We had a thing with parking car, but later on we went to the restaurant close to the Ferry.. The diner was good and we were split up in three groups.. Afther that a few went home and we went back to Leeuwarden. Out there we went to the Stads Cafe for a drink... I went back afther the drink with Rowena. The car was already packed, only the cool foods we need to get there.
