I spent 2 days in Tallinn
and I think this is a perfect destination for a weekend break. The city center albeit small is very pretty, covered with a free wifi so you can connect everywhere, all the buildings have been renovated, there's plenty of caffes, restaurants etc...and people do speak English. ...I thought that Tallinn would be as expensive as Prague or so but unfortunatelly it's a bit more expensive....3euro for a pint of beer is still uncomparable with 1eur in Prague :-). PS: Good news for guys as they will certainly be pleased by some good views :-)
The second day in the afternoon I decided to go to a beach but instead of asking someone where to go I looked at the map and picked a bus stop from where it seemed to me it could have been only a 1-2km walk to the seaside.
Well, the start was good as I was walking north on a regular road....but afted 300m the road changed to a tiny walking path in a forest and I started considering whether I should return or continue. I'm definitely not giving up I was telling myself despite the fact it was only me who was going to the beach :-(. After 500m the forest changed into a swampland with a 2m high grass but fortunatelly for me it was not that wet....I'm kind of regretting I didn't ask anyone about the official way to the beach because what if something happened to me here???No-one would ever find me here....After 15minutes fighting the nature I see a man with a horse....this is a good sing as it means civilization. I AM saved :-).....Shortly after that I finally ended up on the beach with plenty of people and I realized "that beach on the map" had two parts - the regular one and the swampland....ups!
