A stop for gas and lunch in Ohio
The next part of the trip will be the longest one during the entire trip. I estimate about 10 hours from Karen's house to ours, so it's now 11:00am, time to hit the road! The drive through Indiana wasn't very exciting, mostly farms and lots of corn and soy beans. Most of Ohio was the same, except for passing near Columbus, Ohio where we stopped for lunch and gas. We decided on Arby's for lunch, and we must have been a little car crazy because we were acting like kids, playing with our food and being silly! What a great time, even though the other people in there probably thought we were crazy! After getting gas for the car, we continued east towards the Appalachian Mountains. These mountain don't compare to the Rocky Mountains out west, but they are still very pretty to drive through, and very green, and during the fall when the leaves are changing colors, it is a very beautiful area to visit!
