Being touristy in Sydney

Spent the day walking around Sydney, checking out all the sights and sounds. It's a very nice city, lots to see and do. Walked through the botanical gardens, and got freaked out by the hundreds of giant bats. Did the whole Opera House thing as well.
Spent the night in a great hostel in Kings Cross, called the Original Backpackers. They had a free wine and cheese night, followed by a free meal with the purchase of a drink (kinda weird). Then at the bar, we had seemingly unlimited free drink tickets given to us. Basically, I was fed and drunk for $4.50! Not too shabby.
