We met our tour guide, Susan who had the best english out of all our tour guides, but she wasnt was nice as the others, she didnt allow any extra time for anything, and stuck to what she wanted to do and she suppose to do. We went to a fake market first to shop, and everything was fake, but it was choas in there. Every shop attendant was coming after you try you to sell everything they had, but they started their prices to high, but i eventually got them down to a 1 or 2 euros.
The next I went to The Sumemr Palace, which was full of chinese tourist and a few of them were asking if they could take a picture of me, becuase some of them come for a small village and hadnt see a westerner before. They called westerners "big noses". The sumemr palace was hughe, but i got a nice boat journey in the lake which was relaxing
I went to the Forbidden City afterwards which was aslo hughe and full of chinese tourists. It was intresting to see but sore on the feet and then a quick visit to Tinamen square.
In the evening we had dinner near the thearte which we would go to see the Peking opera. The Peking opera was really bad show, it was so bad it was funny, well the first bit with the emporess and the emporer.
The second day went to the ming tombs for a quick visit, didnt see much of it and the off the the Great Wall Of China which was really good and intresting. It was so nice to be finally on the great wall of china but it wasnt what i was expecting. I took the hardest but quiest route. It was very steep and hard to cllimb up, but it was so steep it was even difficult to get down. It was a good experience to be on the great wall of china.
Our last dinner conisted of a Peking duck dinner. The peking duck was nice, we ahd other dishes as well. Behind us was a show which conisted of singing, martial arts, arobatics and a puppet show all entertaining.
