We started our journey pretty early in the morning because we had to be in Charlerois (very far under Brussels) to catch our cheap Ryanair flight to Trapani airport, and from there on we were "transported" towards Balestrate.
When we arrived at the airport we had to wait a couple of hours to check in and when in we passed the security (i had the idea the were more concerned about an overload of luggage than our safety) anyway... after landed and driven high speed towards our appartment we started to unpack and explore the town.
It was a small town which is part of Palermo region and had the basic needs for staying, foodstores, some restaurantsand a trainstation.
We explored the town and the beach and it was good, also a small harbour from wich you could walk over rocks towards another beach.
We went some days later towards Palermo with the train and walked around in the city, we loved the new part and walked around shopping (inevitable with 2 ladys, which one is my girlfriend and the other family) Palermo is building up and it has great hidden places near the shoppingstreet.
2 days later we went to Trapani and then with the boat to the island near the cost of Sicily. The Island and Trapani were eye openers, small and lovely... friendly people and great nature.
hope you enjoy the pictures and get a glimps how it looks over there..
have great travels: keep smiling
