The Summary
I have been to Mt.Lemmon on many occassions and it still takes my breath away each time. Standing at a little over 9,000 feet above sea level, it gives many native Tucson residents a getaway from the low lands and heat in the summer months when temperatures persist at three digit levels -100 defrees. In the winter the snow capped mountain becomes a haven for ski lovers. It is a must view if one visits Tucson. The full moon is spectacular from atop the mountain. Africancrab is a Mountain Climber
