An evening on Mt.Lemmon and the Full Moon
It was one of those days: an incredibly difficult and challenging day at work today. Something in the water or the effect of the full moon made every one cranky, I mean the people I was helping and a few around me were just difficult to deal with. The tension in the office was noticeable as many agreed the managers were being fussy. I worked a 9 hour shift which made it even the more difficult considering I had been working only 6 hours since returning from bed rest and medical leave. To calm myself I decided to chat on Travbuddy during my lunch break and the interface between my next shift. Outside, the wind howled as if to caution the earth, yet noisy like a barking dog whose wrath will never be encountered. Time moved slower and I did wish for once I was somewhere else other than in the office. Leaving the office was not option as it was a discouraging 104 degrees Fahrenheit outside and the humidity was at almost 10 percent.
I left the office at a quarter past 5:00 p.m. heading home for a snack. It was hot in the car and my AC took a while to cool me down (which was literally half way through my drive home). It was 104 degrees outside and my car was more like 110 degrees, it took a little while longer for the AC in my apartment to cool down too because I forgot to leave it running when I left in the morning.
