We decided to take a day trip up to Silver Star ski resort and on the way a stop in at Vernon. Vernon was an interesting town so we had a wander around before going to one of the Chinese buffets in town which turned out to be a decent meal. After lunch we jumped back in the car and continued our drive up the mountain.
