awesome to arrive

We were so happy to finally arrive in Vancouver and be able to just relax. We stayed at first in the HI central on Granville St which was a very fun time until we watched as all the money we had saved started to just disappear, as the street is just a constant party with different places having specials every night our favourite was Whineo's which was a tapas bar that staged burlesque shows every Wednesday night. Granville St was also home to our favourite restaurant The Templeton where you could get delicious burgers and awesome breakfasts for a hangover then we decided that we would go somewhere else where we wouldn't burn through our cash so quickly, so we moved to the HI jericho beach which is an awesome hostel where you can chill out and go down to the beach whenever you feel like it. Anyway Vancouver is an awesome city with a lot of activities to keep you occupied there is beautiful Stanley Park which you can ride around in around 2 hours, walk around in 6 hours or take a horse drawn carriage around all giving awesome view of downtown, the grouse grind just over in North Vancouver which is a hard trek or its easier if you take the gondala but the price put that out of our budget at the top you can go zip lining and during winter skiing, capilano and lynn canyons which offer great hiking around and cool suspension bridges, Granville Island which has a cool public market to walk aroundas well as a microbrewery that we took the tour around which included 4 free taste testers, a great nightlife and wreck beach a clothing optional beach near UBC where you can buy anything from mojitos to food to hash cookies, but one of the most interesting things there is to go for a walk around East Hastings which is like something from a horror movie, it is very sad to see in such a beautiful city.

Agreed, Vancouver is definitely one of my favorite cities ever. Although I've only been there during the summer, not sure how much I'd like the rain or snow :)
