ATHENS GREECE 8-16- - 8 -19
Had a bit of trouble accessing internet folks. That 's what you will find in Athens. But ofcourse if you don't want to see any sights and just look for internet cafes, you WILL find them, but then you won't see half the stuff that you came to do! PLUS, you will spend lots and lots of money because the internet here is not cheap. We have spent 3 glorious days in Athens, and I have saved the main blog on word so that I can copy and paste into here because |I knew that every minute on here would be precious. There is so much to tell you about Athens, just Athens, that I am not doing it justice by leaving this copy with you, but atleast you will get the idea of what is what - until I can update. Tomorrow is a 18 hour train trip from Athens to Thessonloniki to ISTANBUL so I will have plenty of time to catch up - if you will - while sitting on the train. We have not sat AT ALL while here. But, we have walked an average of 7 miles a day , trains, trams, subways and have seen an amazing amount of wonderful - beautiful - ancient and MEMORABLE sights. I close and now give you my draft of the trip so far.
