At first just a friend and i Would travel Europe for 3 months but opportunities led to a slightly longer stay

red lights and high times

The first thing we did after arriving to Amsterdam, after checking in to the hostel of course, was find the closest coffee shop which is where we spent much of the first night only leaving to get food and then go to bed. Once this was out of our system the next day was spent checking out the sites including the Van Gogh museum which was really interesting to walk around, and the colourful characters around the city, once it was night we decided to head to the red light district to have a look around and i found it very interesting to walk around. The next day we went back as someone had told us to visit it during the day and was quite different. I quite liked the city and it was very cool to just wander along the canals, but it was very expensive to go out drinking or to eat so we ended up living on take away and not much else.
