If you are in Spain and get the chance to go here DO IT. Accomodation may be expensive but you do not need it i spent the nights either sleeping on hostel floors or one night in the train station, with a lot of other people of course. You do not need much sleep here anyway because there is partying everywhere at all hours and fireworks going off all the time, including a midday display everyday. The statues that have been made are awesome and so funny to look at, there is paella cook offs, concerts everywhere, hourly processions of people in traditional dress and so many places to stop and get a beer or a bite to eat. This was one of my favourite weekends of my whole trip and would recommend it to anyone a hundred times over especially if you are there for the final night when all the statues go up in flames
