chocolate, waffles, belgian fries and duval

We arrived in Brugge late in the evening and eventually came by the snuffel sleep in an absolutely awesome hostel with its own bar with so many different types of beer it was hard to make a choice but after a bit of tasting different ones I found my favourite the duval a 9% dark beer. Waking up the next day a bit groggy we went for a walk down town and in the main square had some belgian fries which were among the nicest fries ive ever had. After walking around for a few more hours seeing the beautiful arcitecture we decided it was time for some dinner we found a little Italian restaurant about 4 streets back from the main square and for 3 euros i got a pasta that i could hardly finish. After this we went back to the hostel, where we met 3 Americans who we would travel with for the next 2 1/2 weeks, for a good night of drinking. For breakfast the next morning we decided on some waffles which were delicious with banana, strawberries and then drizzled in chocolate. One thing we also found was the best chocolate was just from the supermarket rather than the expensive stuff from the specialty chocolate stores.
