We had 6 hours to wait between flights in Hong KOng and we had planned to explore the city but unfortunately when we arrived. Hong Kong was covered in thick grey clouds with strong winds blowing and torrential rain from a typhoon that was crossing over the city. so we were stuck in the airport before boarding the plane to Denpasar, Bali.
We arrived in bali around 1 am, paid the 25$ for the visa and moved through immigration and customs quickly. As we walked out the exit we were swamped by drivers, waving hand written signs of names of their passengers in our face . There must of been 50-100 drivers, Welcome to Indonesia.
My wife found the driver with her name written on the card Hitomi O'Brien. We were taken to his car. the driver introduced himself and then said to my wife you must be Hitomi and to me you must be O'Brien which brought a smile to our face. Check in at the hotel went smoothly and then we were taken to our room on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool and ocean. After 15 hours of travelling, ( weyes even in Asia the things we do to get cheap tickets) We were exhausted and ready for bed...................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
